About the speaker Dr Emre Yaksi obtained his PhD (2007) in the laboratory of Dr. Rainer Friedrich at Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, Heidelberg-Germany. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow (2007-2010) in Dr Rachel Wilson’s laboratory at Harvard Medical School, Boston-USA. He worked as a group leader at NERF, and an assistant professor at KU Leuven – Belgium from 2011 to 2015. Emre Yaksi is now an associate professor at the Kavli Institute for systems neuroscience – NTNU since January 2015. |
