About
“The International Conference on Genomics and Bioinformatics” will be held on May 7 in association with the EMBO Practical Course on Bioinformatics and Genome Analysis at Izmir International Biomedicine and Genome Institute. The conference aims to bring together scientists working on genome-wide bioinformatics analysis of high-throughput data. Conference speakers are leading scientists in the field of bioinformatics and genomics. The conference will cover different topics involved in genome studies and their bioinformatics analysis. Metagenomics will be the main topic to be presented. In addition to metagenomics, the following topics will be discussed during the conference:
- Comparative genomics and translational bioinformatics,
- Tandem repeat variants in human genome,
- Whole exome analysis for identification of disease-related pathways,
- Characterization of structural genomic variation.
